ScholarForge collects only the information necessary to operate the platform, support user accounts, provide learning tools, moderate educator submissions, and maintain site security. ScholarForge does not sell personal information.
Account information
Name or display name, email address, and login/session data required to create
and manage user accounts.
Educator submissions
Lesson content and materials uploaded by teachers to the Teacher Exchange,
collaboration spaces, or other educator tools.
Student learning data (when student accounts are used)
Basic learning records such as course enrollment, progress indicators, and
quiz attempt data used to provide instructional features.
Usage data
Limited site analytics such as page views and download counts used to improve
organization, performance, and usability.
Security data
IP address and timestamps used to detect spam, prevent abuse, and protect the
platform from attacks.
Information collected on ScholarForge is used only to:
Student email addresses and account information are not publicly displayed on ScholarForge. Student email addresses are used only for account management, login, and platform functionality and are visible only to authorized administrators and teachers when necessary for instructional purposes.
Some content on ScholarForge is public, such as published lessons or public courses. If a teacher or contributor submits content that is published, their display name may appear publicly with that content. Email addresses are not published publicly.
ScholarForge may send operational emails related to account access, password resets, moderation actions, or important platform updates. ScholarForge does not send marketing emails.
Cookies are used only for essential site functions such as login sessions and security protections.
Information is retained only as long as necessary to operate the platform and maintain security. Educational submissions and moderation records may be retained for accountability and abuse prevention. Security logs may be retained for a limited time to investigate technical or security issues.
ScholarForge may use trusted third-party providers to support essential services such as email delivery (for example, Postmark). These providers process information only as necessary to deliver the service.
